Community rules
Last updated: 2 November 2026. Kunbah is a place to decide what to watch, alone or with family and friends. These rules cover everything people write or share on Kunbah: names in a Kunbah Match, problem reports, and anything you post in future features such as takes, reviews and chats. They are part of our Terms of Service.
Be the friend people ask for picks
- Disagree about films, not about people. Criticise the show, never the person who liked it.
- Mark spoilers. If it reveals a twist or an ending, say so first.
- Keep it about watching: films, shows, cricket nights, what to pick and why.
- Remember families and children use Kunbah too.
Never post or share anything that
- belongs to someone else and you have no right to share, including pirated films, episodes, match footage or download links;
- is obscene, pornographic or sexualises children, or invades someone's privacy, including their bodily privacy;
- insults or harasses anyone because of their gender, or is racially, ethnically, religiously or caste-wise hateful or meant to incite violence;
- is harmful to children;
- infringes a copyright, trademark or other right;
- you know is false or misleading, or hides where a message really came from;
- pretends to be another person, a studio, a streaming service or Kunbah;
- threatens India's unity, integrity, security or public order, or friendly relations with other countries;
- promotes betting, gambling or real-money games, or relates to money laundering;
- contains viruses or code meant to harm devices or the site;
- breaks any law.
Also not allowed
- Spam, scams, chain messages, or links that aren't about what you're watching.
- Paid or sponsored posts that don't say so. Label them clearly, for example "ad" or "sponsored".
- Sharing anyone's phone number, address or other personal details.
- Fake accounts, buying followers, or using several accounts to push votes or ratings.
Children
Accounts are for people 18 or older. Children use Kunbah through a profile a parent sets up. Never contact a child you don't know through Kunbah, and never post anything about a child that their parent wouldn't want shared.
Reporting
If you see something that breaks these rules, use the report option where there is one, or write to our grievance officer at hello@kunbah.com with a link or description. We acknowledge reports within 24 hours. Requests to remove content that breaks these rules are acted on within 72 hours; other complaints are resolved within 15 days.
What we do when rules are broken
Depending on how serious it is, we may remove the content, warn you, limit what you can post, or suspend or close your account. Where the law requires it, we keep information about the content and report it to the authorities.
If you disagree with a decision
Write to the grievance officer (The Founder, Kunbah, hello@kunbah.com, subject: Appeal) and tell us what was removed or limited and why you think we got it wrong. We'll look again and reply within 15 days.
Changes
We may update these rules as Kunbah grows. We remind account holders of them at least once a year, and tell them when anything important changes.
